A Day in the Life of Pudding
Pudding is not like other kittens. Pudding is a small, fluffy, and very friendly dog that has become more than just a pet. He is a real partner to his owner and follows him around all day, showing him love and loyalty. Pudding is always present in the time when the sun is up, when the light remains on in the house, and when everybody goes to sleep. Being the husband, he too has the ability to share every moment in his own unique style. Pudding gets up from his owner in the morning, and this is as regular as a clock would be.
Sunrise Rituals
One of the things the Pudding loves to do is lay down, spread out his little paws, yawn, and jump on the bed at sunrise. He says to his owner that it is now time for her to rise out of bed and commence the day, thus purring gently and gently pushing her. At times, the mere craving from Pudding to be held in the morning gives any otherwise monotonous day a glimmer of hope. Pudding follows his owner around the house when the owner wakes up in the morning without disturbing him. Pudding follows him around always, either when he has gone to the kitchen to brew some coffee or when he has gone to the shower. He particularly has the fascination of sitting on the kitchen bar as food is prepared, especially the breakfast. He has little eyes that seem to be busy observing our surroundings, curious. Now and then, depending on the desired breed of the farmer, he might get some snack for being there in the morning, such as half a cheese or a spoon of milk.
Work and Play
Pudding is most likely to sit somewhere near his owner, and as the morning progresses more often than not, he sits on the edge of his owner’s desk as far as I am concerned. They spend a lot of time together here during the day. The owner of Pudding works from home and is typing away on the laptop while Pudding looks on with interest. He seems to relax when the keys hit the screen, and Pudding will often curl up next to the laptop and fall asleep with his eyes half-closed. Pudding’s always there, even if he slept most of the time. He will wake up every now and then to stretch and meow softly to check whether his owner is still working. Among his most favourite things to do is the petting of him and enjoying silent companionship with his furry friend. It is a minor connection that provides the sense of the daily toasty connection, which does not feel lonely.
Lunchtime and Snacks
It goes without saying that, saturated with milk and honey, pudding does not spend the whole day sleeping. He receives a lot of energy at some times of the day as any other kitten. Pudding will at times leap off the table and “run” around the house, chasing some imaginary animal or picking up scraps of paper that have been dropped on the floor. His tail will wag with happiness as he goes round in circles; this will be followed by him laying down. Through these short movements that he does, they provoke laughter and create happiness around him, and they tell his owner to take breaks and enjoy the fun parts of life. Pudding also likes lunchtime a lot. When Pudding’s owner goes to the kitchen to make a meal, Pudding is right there with him, paying close attention.
Evening Calm
He has a unique way of sitting still while letting his owner know he’s there. His big eyes and soft purring let his owner know he’d also like a small snack. You can tell Pudding is thankful for a bite by the way he rubs up against his owner’s leg. That is true with either a piece of chicken or tuna. He is much less energetic when evening approaches and the sun has set. He likes to lie on the couch with his owner while the owner reads a book or watches TV. He keeps very close during such times, humming almost in a steady hum of happiness. It’s quiet this evening, and Pudding curls up beside his best friend, content with the peace that follows after a long day.
Bedtime Rituals
Pudding makes a last check of all nooks and crannies as though, almost in self-reassurance, everything was indeed in place. Then he jumps on the bed just like he did yesterday morning, waiting to receive his every-night hug from St. Peter, who is always sleeping next to him at night. Humming softly like a grown-up cat, he gradually settles into the covers beside her till sleep overcomes them both. Life for kitties such as Pudding is simple but full of love, of friendship, and other little pleasures. Thus be it known that regardless of whether he sits beside her while she types away at her laptop or plays around in the lounge room or snuggles up together for an afternoon nap, Pudding fills her life with warmth each moment of every day.
