Rescue and Transformation of Newborn and Premature Kittens
Kim and Tania welcome many newborn and premature kittens into their lives. They collect the little souls from the streets of Indonesia and transform their lives by providing them with a home, where they also interact with other kittens. This way, Kim and Tania help them build a family of their own. You can see from the images how fragile the premature kittens are when picked from the hands; they are weak, small, and soft as cotton, but with time they become healthy, smart, and physically fit.
From Fragile to Thriving: The Transformation of Premature Kittens
As you guys can see from this cute little Katie stretching her mini bones and muscles onto the surface of the tarpaulin, it has good sleep knowing that it will be well fed and cared for. He is definitely in good hands, and we can observe tranquillity in his actions. Once they trust you, they can be very cheerful and joyous and help the mental states of humans get a dose of dopamine.
Creating a Positive Environment for Kitties
Their new-found energy can be very soothing to the environment and maintain a positive aura. Moreover, since they love to be held and cuddled, Kim, Tania, and other acquaintances made sure to build a toy home for them. They become a house of power once they get comfortable with toys like ropes, sticks, and balls, and of course, chasing is one of their favourite plays. Their tiny paws can cause trouble for furniture in the house; Tania’s extended family suggested using double-sided tape on areas where the cats tend to scratch, such as the sides or corners of the sofa. Additionally, they built a cardboard play area for them so they can enjoy scratching and playing without their owners worrying about their mischievous acts.
Care and Feeding of Delicate Kittens
We must handle their food with the utmost care because these little kittens are very delicate. Wet kitten food mixed with formula and bottle feeding can help them gain weight and appear healthy. They also require frequent veterinary checks and round-the-clock monitoring for signs of illness.
Adoption Opportunities and Long-Term Care
Once they reach four months old, we will transfer them to a shelter, where they can either stay for the rest of their lives or be adopted by someone.
